New visual identity, guideline, website design and development for a trusted packaging solution provider

Introduction

Jean Anid et Fils, a packaging solutions provider, a pioneer in the can making field with a global foot print and deliveries worldwide. Founded in 1930, today the company manufactures metal/tin and plastic packaging products that covers the paint and chemical industry, as well as the edible oils and dry food sector. We met the owner while presenting one of our personal projects, it was really hard to find such company it took us lots of research and that’s not a good sign. Services like Anid and other industrial business work behind the scenes it’s basically a BtoB, so people usually don’t know about it, they only receive the final product from a BtoC company.

The challenge

It was soon clear for the company how important is to be known in the market and wanted a full rebranding from top to bottom. So our ultimate goal in this project was to make the brand more recognizable, easy to find and known in the market so that other businesses and audiences would be able to recognize the company when they see the logo.

The process

As usual, our branding process started with visual positioning based on the information we obtained from the client. Once we discussed our vision with their team, we decided to start working from scratch, using our unique and gradual process that we like to call the “design funnel”.
Effective branding inspires action and feelings of trust with prospective clients. To convey the correct emotions, we studied the logos, colors, and interfaces of major world industrial business. We were searching for a pattern of trust and efficiency, Eventually, we arrived to tones of summer sky and deep sky blue. We designed the logo, the color palette, font choices, corporate identity and prepared a clear guidelines. We then started designing the new website focusing on anticipating what users might need to do and ensuring that the interface has elements that are easy to access, understand, and use to facilitate those actions, bringing together concepts from interaction and visual design, information architecture and human experiences. We also worked on increasing the website’s visibility and likeliness to be found in search engines. This is important because it helps search engines like Google to show the website content to the right people at the right time.
Thank to the rebranding, Jean Anid et Fils company now has a unique look and feel that helps them stand out in the market, be recognized and enables them to be easily found by potential customers.
